This Privacy Policy explains how ViaBridge, Inc. ("ViaBridge," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information through viabridge.io (the "Site") and the ViaBridge platform (the "Platform," and together the "Services"). It applies to website visitors, prospective customers, and authorized platform users.
1. Information we collect
- You provide: name, business email, phone, company, role, and similar contact details (e.g., when you book a briefing, request information, or are provisioned a platform account); account-administration details for authorized users.
- Platform/KYC data: to onboard institutional clients, identity- and business-verification information is collected and transmitted directly to our qualified custodian and verification providers for their verification processes. ViaBridge does not store or retain this information; it is processed solely as a conduit to those providers, whose privacy practices govern their use of it.
- Automatically: device, browser, IP address, and similar technical data collected through server logs and essential cookies for security and operations purposes.
- From third parties: our infrastructure, custody, verification, and CRM providers.
2. How we use information
To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services; to communicate with you; to onboard and support institutional clients; to comply with legal, regulatory, BSA/AML, sanctions, and audit obligations; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and for marketing consistent with applicable law and your preferences.
3. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary to operate the Site and Platform (e.g., session and security cookies). We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required consent mechanism.
4. How we share information
We share personal information with: service providers/processors (hosting, email, CRM, scheduling); custody, execution, and infrastructure partners as needed to deliver the Services; professional advisors; and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety. In a merger, financing, or acquisition, information may transfer as a business asset. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK, if applicable)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process on the bases of contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation, as relevant.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, regulatory, audit, and recordkeeping obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Financial/AML records may be subject to mandated retention periods.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing or marketing. To exercise rights, contact legal@viabridge.io. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority where applicable.
9. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where required, additional notice.
